4th of July and summer is on.

July is here and summer is in full swing. The 4th of July kicks it in gear with fireworks and the Makawao Rodeo parade. The 4th offered a great south swell for all Maui surfers with 3 to 5 ft waves. You could see families up and down the south shore having a great time. You have all the aunties and wahines (ladies) out charging the waves. Kids from five to 65 years old taking full advantage of the surf. Here is a picture of Micah tearing it up.
Don't miss out on the Makawao Rodeo, it is one of Maui's prime events. Featuring roping, bull riding and barrel racing with some of the best riders in the state. Don't miss out on the Rodeo's ono (so good ) local food.. So it's Upcountry time, head on up there and enjoy the events.
