Maui Vacation Rentals

Maui Vacation rentals (TVR’S)

A recent survey commissioned by the Realtors Association of Maui was reported in the Maui News this last Friday. Similar to the study conducted by Maui County in 2002. The survey wanted to know if Mauians were opposed to vacation rentals in there neighborhood. The county has a package of five bills before the county council that would establish a permitting system for vacation rentals.

Sarah Sorenson, president of The Realtors Association of Maui said we must enforce our land use laws. Also we need to create laws that the community can support. The purpose of this survey is to help draft a workable ordinance that both the community and the cottage industry can support. The SMS survey found that vacation rentals were a positive for the community. One respondent in twenty felt that vacation rentals should be banded.
Hunt’s package of bills would if passed, allow for short term vacation rentals in country and in rural districts under certain conditions. The lowest approval rating for TVR’S was in agricultural lands which was 32 percent that objected. 57 percent of people suryed look on vacation rental favorably and 14 percent un-favorably. We will see what happens; at least the county is moving to work this out, hopefully in a positive manner. The shutting down of VTR’S has cut into local business as far as restaurant and windsurfing rentals and sales.

Hi! I know this is kind of off-topic however I had to ask.
Does building a well-established blog like yours take
a large amount of work? I'm brand new to blogging however I do write in my diary on a daily basis. I'd like to start a
blog so I will be able to share my personal experience
and views online. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for new aspiring blog owners.

Thankyou!

Right now it sounds like BlogEngine is the preferred
blogging platform available right now. (from what I've read) Is that what you're using on your
blog?

Howdy, I am new to blogging and websites in general and was wondering how you got the "www" included
in your domain name? I see your domain, "http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=8893918219767807611&postID=498452249976731337" has the www and my
web address looks like, "http://mydomain.com".
Do you know the way I can change this? I'm using Wordpress. With thanks

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required to get setup? I'm assuming having a
blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very internet savvy so I'm not 100% certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the
same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Appreciate it!

Hey there admin, I just wanted to give you a quick heads up that your current Domain name:
http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=8893918219767807611&postID=498452249976731337 is
being flagged as a possibly harmful site in my browser chrome.
I would highly suggest having somebody look into it.
You could certainly lose a lot of website visitors due to this kind of problem.
Best of Luck.
