Headed towards a drought on Maui!
Since last December and January the rain fall has been pretty low on Maui. My grass is pretty brown and I live on the rainy side of the island. U.S. Senator Daniel Akaka said that he would support the purchase of land and the establishment of 300 million gallon new reservoirs.
That would really help the housing situation being that they have not been issuing new water meters up country. Water has always been a problem on Maui. So let’s pray for rain, but mean while the weather is great.
