South Maui Update

Wailea Maui Real Estate and Kihei Maui Real Estate is looking to do well this winter season. The condos and hotels are booked this winter season which is a great sign of buyers in town. The Kihei Maui condos market should perform well this season. From August 1, 2007 to November 2, 2007 there has been 53 closing in Kihei and Wailea. The prices have ranged from Kihei Shores condominium closing at $250,000. to a high of $3,550,000 for a luxury Wailea ocean front unit at Makena Surf Resort. The housing market has slowed down in the mainland market. Wailea Maui condos should perform well this season.
The Maui Resort market is still happening. With the Canadian dollar at $1.09, which is a new high for the Canadian dollar. South Maui real estate looks like a bargain. So this winter we should have a pretty solid season with foreign buyers looking in good position. There is also talk of the market showing signs of recovering starting next January.
