There is a common thread that I keep hearing from World Travelers. That Maui is one of the best places on this planet to live. So what makes it so that people travel half way around the world to come here? It could be Lahaina, which use to be a sailing town for the whalers, and it still attracts so many curious people, surfers and art lovers. Then some like Kaanapali Beach Resort area for it’s grand hotels and golden beaches and golf courses.
Then there is Wailea/Makena, which offers incredible beaches, world-class golf courses and fabulous hotels for all you comforts. I prefer the countryside of the island with its lush growth and north shore small town feeling. Having lived here for over 35 years and raised my family here there is no other place. Take a walk through Paia Maui town, it is like Mayberry where you always dump into some one you know or visitors from all over the world enjoying the beach life. So what ever it is that draws you to Maui, You can never get enough.
