I am always reading how Wailea Maui, beaches area ranked top in the world. Living on Maui, I know that we have incredible beaches on the island. As I was looking out the window, I noticed what a great day it was. We have been experiencing fantastic weather this fall. So I thought I would grab my camera, and take a short walk down to the water.
I really had a hard time not bailing work, change into my trunks and hitting the water. It is just a golden day and people were really enjoying themselves.

You would never think that in a slow Maui real estate market you would have to deal with multiple offers. I was working with my client on an offer and thinking we were looking good. Then out of know where another offer and we lose this great property. So I encouraged my client’s to put in a back up offer which was accepted. The offer that was in first position canceled for what ever reason. Guess what we are in escrow and my clients are stoked. There was other interest beingit was a really nice 4-acre piece of property in Haiku Maui. The good news is we closed yesterday and everyone was a winner. I always encourage my clients to work with back up offers if they really like the property. Sometimes they don’t come through. Then again this time it was a home run.

Got Paradise Maui HawaiiI was working at one of our sales sites in Wailea. This couple came in from Scottsdale Arizona to view the model. They mention that they sold their Wailea Maui oceanfront condos a couple of years ago. They also mention that they were retiring and wanting to spend more time on Maui. I mention that I heard it was nice in Scottsdale. He look at me and said do you see that view as we both looked over at the beautiful ocean view and a clear windless day. I said say no more that is the reason I have been here for over 36 years.

Okay the economy is slow but people are not going to stop coming to Maui. The reason is this place is just too beautiful, clean warm ocean and just a skip across the pond. So there might be a speed bump in the economy but people are not going to stop coming to Maui.
